If you've just bought your PSP you are probably concerned about the prices of the games. One alternative to buying games is to download them from websites. You need to be careful however as some sites are illegal while others are legal. Many free sites have proved to be illegal whereas the membership style sites are legal. There are 2 types of membership sites the first requires you to pay a low monthly fee where as the others are single payment sites. You'll find that both types of sites should allow you to download unlimited games and movies from within their database. It is very simple to transfer the files from the membership site to your PSP. The first stage is to ensure that you have installed the right software on your PC. After that it is simply a case of downloading the files to your PC or laptop All of the most reputable membership sites should provide you with the correct software. The first step to getting the files is to sign up to one of the sites. Choose whether you want the monthly payment which is usually around $15 or a one time membership site what will cost you in the region of $39 for unlimited lifetime access. After your payment has been confirmed you'll have access to the correct software and the sites database of files. You can then start to download the games and movies you want. You'll first download the games or movies to your local hard drive on your PC or laptop. Once you have them then it's time to transfer them to your PSP. The membership site you've chosen should provide you with easy to follow instructions. Of all the sites we reviewed PSPnerd had by far the best. In order to do this you will need either a USB cable (which connects your PSP directly to your PC) or using a compatible memory stick. Once the PSP has been connected to your PC using a USB cable then it is simply a case of you transferring the game from the file where it has been saved after being downloaded from the site directly on to your PSP. If you use the USB method your PSP should show up immediately. You then just need to drag and drop the files to the correct folder. This is by far the easiest method and a child should be able to complete it without any problems. The only problems happen id you have used the wrong file type of transferred the files to the wrong folder.
