Along with using such remedies as we have mentioned above, a person can further treat their condition by making changes to their diet. Not only can these changes often help to improve the condition, but can also help to cure it as well. Many people find that reducing their intake of foods which contain high levels of starch such as potatoes and pastas helps to improve their situation over time. If you are finding that you are having difficulties in bringing the itching and burning symptoms of the infection under control and which are making life difficult for you there are certain things you may want to try. Firstly why not get an icepack which has been wrapped in cloth (a towel for example) and then place this over the affected area. Also when having a bath add some baking soda to the water and this should provide some relief for you as you lay in the bath from the symptoms mentioned above.
