In their rush to make money quickly online, many people try to run before they have learnt to walk. If you want to be a professional soccer star, a musician, an IT whizz kid, a singer, there are certain things that you must know and do first before you reach this status. Its much the same in internet marketing, although you need to beware of the people who claim that all you have to do is "turn up" in order to make a pile. Mind you, in many ways it is a darn sight easier than driving for an hour each way to work, and putting up with an unreasonable boss, but there is still a learning curve involved before you see the money rolling in. Most people will not make a dime online and yet there are others who will make more in one month than most people make in a whole year. Why is that? To be honest there are not many of us out there who have the complete answer to this question. Its like saying " which comes first, the chicken or the egg" But what I can say is that first and foremost, in order to make money online you need to love and believe in the product or service that you are offering. What I mean by loving and believing in the product is that you genuinely do think that this product or service will be right for the people who use it, and will help them with some need or problem that they have. I will have to say that many online entrepreneurs are so good at what they do that they ignore passion because they can sell anything. But I'm concerned about those of you who are not so knowledgeable at working an online business successfully. Now, I'm not trying to make anyone believe that Passion is the only thing necessary. Because to be successful you must also have a good website, good marketing, widespread advertising, company support, effective keywords, and etc. Those things are often learned from the company you join - but sidestep Passion and you reduce your chances for success dramatically. There is an old saying "when the going gets tough, the tough get going" and this is true. But if you have no positive feelings about the product or service that you are offering, then when the going gets tough you will probably abandon the work and look for something else. Internet marketing work is typically not all that difficult or time consuming but it does take motivation caused by Passion to get you off and running with a sustained effort so that you won't stumble. You have a great resource in the Internet search engines to search about the Internet Marketing industry for business opportunities, USE IT! Time spent with the search engines will pay dividends as you will be able to locate some great companies selling genuine, helpful products, that you will be able to whole-heartedly support and believe in.
